This morning, I was looking for something to share.
It began with meandering through some new viddies from YouTube this morning, just for you.
I’ve got over 60 THOUSAND HOURS worth of viewing on my venerable, old and trusty and uber-reliable NEC Multisync LCD 2690WUXi!
60 THOUSAND HOURS. I did not say 6 thousand.
The internal software for the screen has been keeping track of that since the day it came out of the box.
I think I got my money’s worth.
It was recommended by tons of pro photographers at the time and has it’s own, unique colour calibration software, called Spectra-View, built right in.
So, I was gobsmacked this morning when I saw this:
Asus is now making a 28” 4K Ultra-High Definition Monitor and there hands on review is HERE.
A nice little 28″ replacement for my current NEC is $2649 USD.
The 4K Asus?
You’re sitting down. Right?
How it will all wash out for Photography remains to be seen, but I’ll be keeping an eye out for this one.
