Portrait Photgraphy.
One of the biggest hurdles a Professional Photographer ever has to overcome is learning how to photograph people, properly. After all, almost everything else is passive, right?
Although it's the biggest challenge of all, it's also, far and away for ME, the most enjoyable. To capture the 'essence' of each individual in the final image is amazingly satisfying to me, more so too, when they see the image and realize what I was after.
OK so, here's a little 'homework assignment'.
As you click on the thumbnails and open these photos up a little larger, take a very close look at the expression in their EYES...
Each and every one of them feels relaxed and completely at EASE, essentially, they look pretty darned comfortable in their own skin.
That's just great RAPPORT.
And, there's a Trust Issue too, isn't there?
It's like ...."OK, OK. I'm going to DO this but you've got to promise to make me look GREAT!"
Well, you can't look great if you're NOT having a good time.
Trust me, I know these things.
Hey.
I'm the biggest chicken there IS, in FRONT of the Camera. I make all kinds of goofy faces, fidget, you name it.... so I KNOW how that feels."
Ain't going to let that happen to YOU. :>)
Promise.
Let's have fun. 'K?
