The Absolute King Of Monoballs

The Absolute KING of MONOBALLS.

I’ve been held hostage by Foba now for many years.
One upon a time I purchased a Foba Super Mini Ball and eventually, spelled’now’, it just gave up the ghost.

I never found Foba’s Customer Service to be even half way decent, and being on this side of the ocean the best you could do was beg them to ship you parts and cobble your MiniBall together any way you could.

They seldom if ever answered emails and they’re located in the Czech Republic.

The head had a number of design flaws including a shaft that ran through the inside of the head from the p-l-a-s-t-i-c locking lever… and out the other side.
More than a few times it just got loose and the locking lever would flop around like a broken leg.

This wasn’t a one time thing. A very close friend of mine had all kinds of grief with the exact same head as well.

Over the last 8 months or so I pretty well had to hold it together with Elastic Bands.
Finally?
It’s gone.

Incoming is the current World Champion: the ARCA SWISS Z-1 Dual Pan Monoball with Flip Lock Release.

It’s expressly designed for right handers which is a bit of a pain in the patookas for this particular southpaw…
But it’s a War Horse, and it’s loaded with precision.

It’ll take a bit of getting used to but I’m sure it will be a distinct pleasure, indeed.

Oh and COST?

About $650 with shipping and their Arca Swiss Standard Plate.
