Elephant Nature Park is an elephant rescue and rehabilitation center in Northern Thailand, where abandoned and injured elephants are given a new lease on life. Some, like five-year-old Faa Mai, were too young to be taught how to live in the wild when rescued. This playful youngster is welcomed and guided by the older females in the Park’s rescue herd; the hope is that she will one day be able to join a wild herd in the forests of Thailand.
Faa Mai, like most young elephants, is extremely curious and ready to make a game or adventure out of any situation. Here, she finds an amazing number of ways to have fun with a length of reinforced water hose. The jealous elephant trying to stop Faa Mai from hogging the spotlight is her friend Navaan.
That’s gotta’ be your feel good moment for the day.
